A Lan Na Life, September Slideshow

 A quick slideshow with the normal bumbling about that I get up to here in and around Chiang Mai plus a splash (pun intended) of the Royal Longboat Festival Phitsanulok. I have just updated my Filmora to 16. I seem to get the update version quite quickly, maybe because of the contact we have had on technical matters before but I am trying for the first time Filmora 16, yes only on a slideshow as yet, more to come. What this does mean is I have to re-import some previous custom stuff which means hunting for it and sometimes adjusting it a little as times change and I think an update is nice. Anyway, what ho.

Phitsanulok Royal Boat Race Festival race and Fun

 Here I go again, more. Having got thouroughly drenched on the way to Phitsanulok the weather cleared and became rather hot for watching the longboats race down the river and see some of the crazy team fun on the riverbank. The Burg Rides the Monsoon

 A fuller version of the ride from Chiang Mai to Phitsanulok through pretty typical end of rainy season weather. You would think I would have learned by now. Drenched and cold with the windchill and a ride that ended being rather expensive as the wet weather drowned the phone. For info The onboard stuff is time-lapse the rain is real not AI. My onboard camers shoots at full HD so the whole lot has been upscaled to 4K using Topaz. If you like this and my other stuff please like and subscribe on YouTube.

 Throwback and the last (probably) of the stuff about the trip Chris Jones, Ian Henry and I took to the MotoGP in Thailand this year. A quick bike on bike video of a few of the things you don't often get if you just stick you major highways as we took some smaller roads between our digs and the track for the Thai MotoGP 2026.

A Lan Na Life at Moment & Wine August 2026

  It's vlog time again and here I am trying to tie up  my August (yes I know it is half way through September already) before I start shooting my trip to Phitsanulok for the boat races. If you follow my channel you may have noticed I like wine. Fortunately in Chiang Mai theres a smashing little place called MOMENT & WINE on the Tha Pae road where I can enjoy a glass or more. This is one such drop in occasions and I got to taste a potential now addition to the wine list. For info I am not affiliated or paid by Moment & Wine (or any of the places I review) and by the way the wine I was invited to taste the vines had been grown on volcanic slopes

 Another month slips away and even in rainy season there are opportunities to get out and about. A month to enjoy walks, scenery, life, food and drink. And oh, in case my praise for the places I visit makes you think they pay me to sing loudly about them... I wish😁
