Japan 2025, the 1st Slideshow

As some of you may know, I have just returned from Japan. I bet you can imagine how many snaps and videos I have taken which, as well as the trip to the Philippines in late February My step daughters graduation And my sisters visit Has meant that very few videos, blogs and vlogs have been done for more than a month. Not only that, it is Songkran this weekend so there will be an even bigger backlog by next week. All this has led me to try and knock together at least a little taster of the Japan trip. It's done hastily but, it is done. Here we go.

As you can imagine, the 1st Songkran in yonks took me out and about, at least for the 1st day when the parade was help, the time of which I got totally wrong but. Here is a bit of me wondering if I will ever frame my videos right especially when dodging buckets of water... Sawatdee pi mai

Mont: My story starts some 10 years after WWII. My father had decided to make his post war future in the USA. He arrived on the SS Veendam in November of 1953 and set up home in Minnesota. The story goes that he received a cable from the lady that was to be his wife and my mother saying "Arriving Queen Mary, New York, 11 March 1954" "Be there!" I was born on the 10-year anniversary of V E day. I have no idea if this will be of interest or not, I just wanted a medium to record life's events, travels with some of my motorbike rides, cycles and the daily ups and downs. I hope I can include detailed trip reports etc and of course, as I am getting on in years, I can be very opinionated, you will find that out. Oh and I do a daily post on Facebook so I will start by using copy and paste of that, It can be a little out of the box.
